lotus GoFundamentals (replacing Basics)

Suitable for beginners as well as the experienced in search of a tune-up.

Yoga is so much more than just another workout, and this class will show you why. As you learn how to stretch, strengthen, and breathe properly so that your body can be at ease, you will cultivate the ability to meditate, and learn about the complete philosophy of yoga. The goal? To experience a comprehensive spiritual practice that will spill over into your whole life, making everything you do infinitely more enjoyable.

lotusGoDeeper (replacing Int/Open)

Suitable for intermediate practitioners who are ready for vigorous practice.

GoDeeper classes are the most accessible to all levels of regular practitioners who are oriented with the essential elements of practice. Enliven your body and release your mind through vigorous poses and creative sequencing. Sun salutations, standing postures, twists, balances, deep backbends, intelligent alignment, pranayama, bandhas: this class does it all.

lotusGoBeyond (replacing Int/Adv)

Suitable for intermediate to advanced students who know when to hold back, and when to go for it.

GoBeyond classes offer a highly vigorous and challenging practice to seasoned practitioners who are ready for deep physical and mental exploration. Expect all of the elements of a GoDeeper class, and expect the unexpected.

lotusGoSarva (Michael Hewett)

This class may include up to twenty minutes of meditation and discussion of practical philosophy before engaging in deep, vigorous asana practice suited for intermediate to advanced students.

Sarva is Sanskrit for “Whole,” or, “Complete.” GoSarva classes seek to incorporate and evolve the physical, emotional, and intellectual aspects of a person so that they may transcend themselves both on and off the mat. There are practices for maturing these three intelligences simultaneously. Non-violence and postures for the physical; devotion, service, and unconditional love for the emotions; discrimination, self-study, and the mental training of concentration leading to perfect meditation. When these practices are engaged the practitioner effectively opens to the grace of their own infinite potential as they experience it all around them

lotusExpress (65 minutes)

Transform your busy day at light speed! These Intermediate/Open level classes begin standing at the front of the mat and offer a vigorous practice that is modifiable to meet your skill level. Express Classes are a steal at just $12, but you are welcome to use the classes stored on your account or Monthly Unlimited.

lotusAshtanga ~ Led Class (int/adv)

These classes are for students and teachers interested in deepening their understanding and practice of yoga. For those considering a Mysore practice, the led classes are also a wonderful introduction into the Ashtanga yoga system. Students will be guided through Yoga Chikitsa (Yoga Therapy) to the rhythm of the vinyasas counted in Sanskrit. This primary series of Ashtanga yoga is taught in the traditional method of Mysore, India by Shri K. Pattabhi Jois. There are no classes on new or full moons (moon days). No class on Moon Days May 3 & 17 (Tue).
