Coming from a dance background, I discovered the depths & sustainability of yoga practices in 2007. Since then, yoga has become my passion & lifestyle. Inspired by the beautiful teachers who continue to enrich my life, in 2011, under the blessings of Sharon Gannon & David Life, I became a 300-hour certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher. In my classes, the primary focus is on intention & its connection to the breath & movement. In a rigorous asana class, I incorporate music to open the heart, chanting to arouse devotion, & meditation to still the mind. Highly dedicated to the path of yoga, I am looking forward to helping students discover the light that they are & enjoy the de-light-full journey of yoga.
In February 2013, I completed the 800-hour Jivamukti apprenticeship program, studying under the guidance mentor Tamar Samir. I am ever grateful to my family, friends, founders of Jivamukti Yoga, my dear mentor Tamar Samir, & all the teachers & students for their dedication, patience, wisdom, compassion, & love.
I view each student as a special student & remind that with patience, through dedication & consistent practice, everything is possible. “It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.” – Walt Disney
