New To Yoga?

Always consult your physician before beginning any exercise regimen.

Any class on our schedule labeled “Basic” is suitable for beginners.

We recommend trying at least 2 – 3 classes a week, for those in good health, to “get that yoga feeling.”

Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. Some practitioners prefer tighter, stretchable clothing as it tends to get in the way less. We practice with our shoes off.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for class, so you can check-in, get changed, and organize yourself in a relaxed manner.

We suggest setting yourself up right in the center of the room at first. This will help you hear the instructions better, and enable you to look around the room in case you get lost.

If you have had a surgery or injury in the past 6 months, or any chronic issues at all, please make sure to mention it to the instructor before class begins.

It is best to refrain from eating 1 – 2 hours before class. Practicing yoga too close to meal time may result in indigestion.

We have a 10 minute grace period for latecomers.

Mat rental is available for $2.

Sorry, we don’t have showers.

We’re always here for you! Feel free to contact us if you have any further questions or comments.
